Permanence Collection

This body of work reflects on the global problems in society during the time of it’s creation between 2003-2011. People must confront social problems to come to terms with them before working on solutions. For me, this is achieved in the cathartic nature of making objects. These sculptures confront issues such as ecological loss, generational trauma, , labor rights and mental health to name a few. Iron, bronze and aluminum are used to signify the historical and industrial relationship between natural and artificial forms.
